A reward headline tells only part of the story. Read the conditions before deciding whether to take part.
Find the qualifying action
Check whether you must sign up, make a purchase, meet a spending threshold or complete another step.
Check timing and exclusions
Look for deadlines, eligible locations, excluded purchases and limits on who can participate.
Understand how the reward arrives
Read the provider’s payout method and processing terms. A pending reward is not the same as an approved reward.
Choose based on your own needs
A reward is useful when the underlying product or service is something you want. Compare the cost and conditions with the benefit.
Your reward offer checklist
Record the required action and every condition before taking part. Keep the provider’s terms and confirmation so you can refer to what was stated.
| Detail | Question to answer |
|---|---|
| Eligibility | Am I eligible by location, account status and other restrictions? |
| Qualifying action | What exact action must I complete, and by when? |
| Cost | Is a purchase, subscription or minimum spend required? |
| Approval | What can make the action ineligible or the reward reversed? |
| Delivery | How and when does the provider say the reward will arrive? |
| Support | Which provider handles a missing or declined reward? |
Pending is different from approved
A pending entry shows that processing is not complete. Check the provider’s stated approval conditions and status; do not treat a promotional headline or pending entry as confirmed value.
